County to Hold Business Workshop for Artists & Creative Entrepreneurs

The 'Business Resources for Artists & Creative Entrepreneurs' will be held Tuesday, May 7 in Doylestown.

The County of Bucks Business Development Department will present a workshop for artists and creative entrepreneurs on Tuesday, May 7.

The Business Resources for Artists & Creative Entrepreneurs will be held at the Central Bucks Chamber of Commerce, Bailiwick Office Campus, Suite 23, 252 West Swamp Road, Doylestown, PA 18901.The program starts promptly at 8:15 a.m. and concludes at 10:30 a.m.

"Bucks County is home to many artists and creative-based businesses," said Sonia Smith, County of Bucks Business Development Administrator. "Our goal is to help these businesses combine their creative flair with their entrepreneurial ability by offering education opportunities to successfully build and grow their business."

The scheduled members and topics of discussion include:

  • Pricing Your Work and Public Relations: Bill Wedo, M.J., MBA, Communications Manager, Studio Incamminati
  • Insurance Coverage For Your Business and Your Creations: Shelleen Piselli, CIC, Borden Perlman Salisbury & Kelly Insurance Agency
  • Licensing, Copyrights, Trademarks, and Legal Recourse: Donald Cox, Esq., Volpe & Koenig, P.C.
  • Business Resources: Karl Kraus, MBA, N.P.D.P., Senior Business Consultant, Temple University Small Business Development Center

Pre-registration is requested due to limited seating; however, there is no charge to attend the event.
