Menchie's Raises $234,307 For Muscular Dystrophy Association

The frozen yogurt chain held a month-long fundraiser to benefit the MDA.

Menchie's Frozen Yogurt announced it has raised $234,307 for the Muscular Dystrophy Association.  The funds were raised by Menchie's guests during a month-long program to benefit children and adults affected by neuromuscular disease.

From August 1 through September 3, Menchie's guests throughout the country were asked to "Mix it up for MDA" by purchasing and signing a $1 Make a Muscle, Make a Difference mobile while buying frozen yogurt at any of Menchie's 200 nationwide locations, including the shop at Center Point Place.

A special coupon for 15 percent off the next visit to Menchie's was included in the promotion as a thank you for each mobile purchased. Local families served by MDA will benefit from every frozen yogurt mix and mobile sold.
