Yum Yum Donuts Upgrades Signage

Yum Yum Donuts has gone the way of many 50-year-olds and had itself a face lift. Construction crews spent Tuesday setting up and installing new signs at the Street Road bakery, including a giant donut that lights up when the sun goes down.

The sign installations mark the end of a renovation project that started during the last couple weeks of August. The Conly family decided to mark Yum Yum Donuts' 50th anniversary by upgrading the exterior, including replacing the building's roof. 

With the imminent completion of the Wawa store across the street, Dan Conly says the store is ready to take on the new competition.

"It's all about selling quality products in a friendly atmosphere," said Conly back in June. "We have a lot of loyal customers that can't live without us."
