Property Adjustment Corp. First in Pennsylvania to Put the Power in the Hands of the Homeowner - New software implemented to arm consumers and business owners with information needed to estimate their insurance claims

Property Adjustment Corporation, a public adjustment firm headquartered in the Greater Philadelphia area has partnered with IP Strategies Group IPSG) of Fort Lauderdale, Fl. to offer Property Ruler™ software to all of its clients.  The partnership is the first of its kind in Pennsylvania and will give home and business owners the ability to estimate their property damage claims even if they do not have a prior understanding of insurance coverage options or the public adjustment experience.

Property Ruler™ Software is a cloud based, user-friendly, property damage assessment tool designed to create a quick property damage estimate within roughly five minutes.  While the software's online estimate is not a replacement for a professionally written estimate and is not intended for settlement purposes, it gives home and business owners the ability to size up their claim within a 20% degree of accuracy, and puts the power of the estimating process in their hands. The program was designed for a property or business owner with a flood, wind, fire, property, hurricane, tornado, or Superstorm Sandy claim to determine approximately how much damage has occurred on their property.

Kevin Kaufmann, principal of Property Adjustment Corporation, views Property Ruler™ software as an opportunity to make consumers more comfortable and confident about the claim experience. “No one is putting this information at the fingertips of the consumer,” says Kaufmann. “Every day, losses are occurring for people who are not sure of their coverage, and most importantly, do not know how to ask for and what they are entitled to. “ Property Ruler™ is a property owner’s first step toward understanding the loss process and determining whether they would benefit from hiring a public adjuster to represent them in their insurance claim.”

About Property Adjustment Corporation:

Since 1989, Property Adjustment Corporation has settled millions of dollars in property damage claims for their clients. Each member of their team of licensed and accredited adjusters brings more than 20 years of experience to their clients’ claims and is an expert in assessing property damage, interpreting insurance policies, and helping home and business owners receive a fair settlement. They know what to look for, what questions to ask, and how to present a claim to get the best possible outcome for their clients.

Often, policy holders do not understand their coverage, what they are entitled to, or what to ask for, nor do they understand how to navigate the claims process. They waste countless hours trying to contact their insurance company with questions about their coverage or their claim; estimating and documenting their damages; and attempting to find contractors to provide repair estimates. As a result, they are likely to get frustrated with the process and accept settlements that are far less than what they are entitled to.

Property Adjustment Corporation takes the pain and aggravation out of the loss settlement process by handling all aspects of the claim: reporting it to the client’s insurance company; estimating the damages to the client’s home or business; and negotiating the highest possible settlement that the client is entitled to.  They know what to ask for and how to properly navigate and present a property claim to optimize a client’s settlement.

Property Adjustment Corporation is licensed in Pennsylvania, New Jersey, New York, Delaware and Florida. For more information visit www.propadj.com or call 215-355-FIRE (3473).
