  • According to a study released on Monday, faced with a persistently weak economy, the number of immigrants flowing into the United States from Mexico has declined for the first time in decades, NBC News reports.
  • On this day, April 24, 1704, the first regular newspaper in the United States, the News-Letter, is published in Boston.
