Christmas Clean-Up: Where to Donate Clothes, Electronics & More

Do you have items you no longer need? A number of holiday collections are underway and items can be easily donated at one location. Find out more.

 

Are you buying a new winter jacket? Do you have clothes, blankets and other like-new items that aren't being used? Are your kids getting new toys to replace their slightly used ones? Do you have old cell phones that are collecting dust?

If you have items you’d like to toss but aren’t sure what to do with them, a number of collections are taking place in Northampton Township and items can be dropped off at area churches and thrift stores.

Clothing: If you have coats you no longer need or slightly used clothes, donations are being collected through Goodwill. A donation center is open at 2365 East Lincoln Highway in Langhorne, the site of a future Goodwill store.

Advent Evangelical Lutheran Church has a shoe collection to support the St. Vincent DePaul Society.

Impact Thrift! in Hatboro and Feasterville accepts all clothing, shoes, purses and belts. See what items are acceptable here. Items can be dropped off between 8:30 a.m. and 5 p.m. Monday through Saturday, or you can schedule a pick up by calling 215-957-6131.

Electronics: Cell phones piling up because you have the newest and best that technology has to offer? Drop off used cells, computers or other electronics at Goodwill in Warminster (1487 W. Street Rd.) or at the Langhorne donation center.

Impact Thrift! also accepts electronics donations, but they must be in working order or no more than five years old. Get more details here.

Blankets: If you have blankets that are in good condition, give the gift of warmth by donating blankets at Advent Evangelical Lutheran Church in Richboro, which will go to A Woman's Place.

Toys and more: Cradles to Crayons accepts donations of childrens clothes, but also toys, puzzles, batteries and more.
