Stormy Weather Forecasted for Warminster Wednesday

A coastal storm could bring high winds and flooding to Warminster Wednesday.

The National Weather Service has released a hazardous weather alert for Warminster, forecasting that a coastal storm will hit the area sometime Wednesday evening.

According to the release, the storm is expected "to impact our area Wednesday into early Thursday" and could bring rain, snow, flooding and high winds.

Here is the timeline of what people could expect, according to the service:

  • Wednesday morning: rain, with a possible rain/snow mix
  • Wednesday midday: rain turns to snow
  • Wednesday evening: snow before tapering off early Thursday morning.

The storm is expected to pass through our area by Thursday.

Despite the warning, no major snow accumulation has been forecasted.
