  • The Economic Development Committee and the Traffic Safety Committee meet tonight at 7 p.m. at the Warminster Municipal Complex. The Municipal Authority Board meets at 7:30 p.m.
  • Fire crews from Warminster assisted the Huntingdon Valley Fire Department with a blaze in Lower Moreland Sunday afternoon, Lower Moreland Patch . The fire was under control 20 minutes after first responders arrived.
  • The owner of the Old Mill Inn in Hatboro has defaulted on his loan, forcing TD Bank to foreclose the property, Horsham Patch . A spokesperson for the bank told Horsham Patch that it is too soon to tell what the future holds for the site.
  • U.S. Representative Gabrielle Giffords plans to attend her husband’s shuttle launch on Friday at Kennedy Space Center in Florida, CBS reports. She is still recovering from the bullet wounds suffered during an attack four months ago that killed six people.
  • On this day, April 25, 1939: Issue number 27 of Detective Comics introduces the world to Batman.
