What's going on around town today.

  • Dan McPhillips will be sworn in tonight when the Warminster board of supervisors meets tonight at 7 p.m. A response to Frank Feinberg's published Wednesday morning is also expected during the meeting's proceedings.
  • The Warminster Parks & Recreation hosts its annual Easter Egg Scramble today at 4:30 p.m. at the WREC Center. The event is open to children ages 3-10 years old and free to participate.
  • Sunny today, with a high near 57, according to the National Weather Service.
  • According to the final autopsy report on her death, Whitney Houston drowned face down in a tub of "extremely hot water" about 12 inches deep, CNN reports. The Los Angeles County coroner ruled that Houston's February 11 death was an accidental drowning with the "effects of atherosclerotic heart disease and cocaine use" as contributing factors.
  • On this day, April 5, 1621, the Mayflower sets sail from Plymouth, Massachusetts on a return trip to Great Britain.
