  • Warminster's Finance & Advisory Board meets tonight at 7 p.m. at the township building. The Library Committee also meets at 7 p.m., but at the library.
  • We've started a new contest! This time, we want to know what you did this summer. , and the winner will earn a $50 gift card and a back-to-school package.
  • Mostly cloudy today, with a high of 85, according to the National Weather Service.
  • A Texas constable and two others were shot dead Monday in about a half an hour of gunfire near Texas A&M University, police told CNN. Scott McCollum, assistant chief with the College Station police department, told reporters Monday afternoon that the three people killed were a Brazos County constable, the man authorities say exchanged gunfire with law enforcement officers and a male civilian.
  • On this day, August 14, 1959, it was the founding and first official meeting of the American Football League.
