What's going on around town today.

  • In case you missed it, there were a last evening, on opposite ends of town. No injuries reported in either incidents.
  • Senator Greenleaf with the William Tennent High School varsity cheerleaders during the Southampton Days Parade last week.  The team plans to compete in the National High School Cheerleading Competition in Orlando, Fla. next February.
  • Creeping back up to 90 today, according to the National Weather Service, so stay cool.
  • The long-awaited findings of an internal review into how Penn State University handled allegations of child sex abuse by a former assistant football coach are scheduled to be released Thursday morning, CNN reports.
  • On this day, July 12, 1962, The Rolling Stones perform their first ever concert, at the Marquee Club in London.
