  • Tickets are available for the Warminster Summer Children's Theater production of "Aladdin." The show will hit the stage at the July 29 and 30 at 7 p.m. Tickets cost $5 per adult, $3 for children 2-10 years old.
  • Mostly sunny today with a high of 93 and achance of showers in the evening, according to the National Weather Service.
  • Hatboro Police are hoping the public can provide clues to a recent theft at a York Road restaurant, as well as several instances where cash was stolen from personal bags at , Hatboro-HorshamPatch . On July 8, police say, a white male and white female, both described as being in their early 20s, deliberately distracted staff at a restaurant in the 40 block of S. York Road and fled with an undisclosed amount of money from the cash register.
  • President Barack Obama is expected to nominate former Ohio attorney general Richard Cordray to head the new Consumer Financial Protection Bureau today, CNN reports. The announcement means Obama has passed over Elizabeth Warren.
  • On this day, July 18, 1955, the first Disneyland theme park opens in Anaheim, Calif.
