What's going on around town today.

  • Warminster's Zoning Hearing Board meets tonight at 7:30 p.m. at the township administration building.
  • Parents are invited to meet at the Centennial Administration Building at 10 a.m. today or at 7 p.m. at William Tennent to review what the new daily elementary schedule will look like in regards to instructional time. The meetings will not cover the ongoing decisions about the start and end schedule.
  • Possible rain in the morning, then mostly sunny with a high near 79, according to the National Weather Service.
  • The young man suspected of killing three people and wounding others near Auburn University turned himself in to authorities late Tuesday, authorities told CNN. Desmonte Leonard turned himself in to U.S. Marshals at the federal courthouse in Montgomery, said Montgomery County Sheriff D.T. Marshall.
  • On this day, June 13, 1967, U.S. President Lyndon B. Johnson nominates Solicitor-General Thurgood Marshall to become the first black justice on the U.S. Supreme Court.
