  • Bucks County Commissioners recognized Lower Southampton Officer Brian Walter, among others, for their work responding to an Upper Southampton incident, Lower SouthamptonPatch . When Ivyland Police Chief Nicholas Rosato  from cardiac arrest while assisting at an Upper Southampton police officer's suicide April 15, Walter came to his aid.
  • is hosting its annual Fun Fair, Friday at 5 p.m. There will be games, bounce houses and DJ entertainment, as well as food and refreshments. All members of the community are encouraged to attend.
  • The cause of a fire early Wednesday morning at the 444 North York Road Professional Offices building in Hatboro is under investigation at this hour, authorities told .
  • CNN reports that former Massachusetts governor and 2008 Republican presidential candidate Mitt Romney will formally announce his second bid for the White House, declaring his candidacy at an event Thursday in New Hampshire, the state that holds the first primary in the presidential caucus and primary calendar.
