  • The Warminster Board of Supervisors meets tonight at 7 p.m. The summer schedule removes the first meeting of the month for July, August and September.
  • Just a reminder that it is going to be another hot one today. The high will be near 98, with the heat index at 101, according to the National Weather Service.
  • Sanford, Florida, Police Chief Bill Lee, who drew criticism for his department's actions in the Trayvon Martin case, was fired Wednesday, CNN reports. Lee will receive a three-month severance and a week's salary in addition to any earned time off.
  • On this day, June 21, 1982, John Hinckley is found not guilty by reason of insanity for the attempted assassination of U.S. President Ronald Reagan.
