What's going on around town today.

  • The Warminster Board of Supervisors meets tonight at the at 7 p.m. On the agenda is further discussion on the ordinance banning the sale, display and use of within the township.
  • The chance for showers and thunderstorms continues today with a high of 88, according to the National Weather Service.
  • A 31-year-old woman was struck by a SEPTA commuter train in Hatboro, near where a Warrington man committed suicide early Saturday following a , officials told . Montgomery County coroner Dr. Walter I. Hofman ruled that the woman, who he identified Wednesday as Amber Witkowsky, of Hatboro, committed suicide.
  • James "Whitey" Bulger, an alleged Boston organized crime boss who was on the FBI's Ten Most Wanted fugitive list, has been captured, CNN reports. He had been on the run since 1995.  The pair was arrested without incident from a residence in Santa Monica, California, on Wednesday. Authorities credited a new publicity campaign for the tips that led them to the fugitives.
  • On this day, June 23, 1926, the first SAT exam is administered.
