What's going on around town today.

  • William Tennent will host its third annual College Fair March 23 at 7 p.m. in the school’s cafeteria. More than 75 colleges, universities and tech schools will be there to showcase what their campuses offer.
  • Congressman Mike Fitzpatrick has extended his office hours this week. His office at Bristol Borough Municipal Hall, 250 Pond St., Bristol is open tonight, 6-9 p.m. His office at 108 Main St. in Doylestown is open on Saturday, 9 a.m.-noon.
  • TMA Bucks (Transportation Management Association) announced that Bucks County high school seniors planning to pursue a course of post high school study in civil engineering, urban planning, transportation management or other related field can apply for scholarships from the TMA Bucks Scholarship Fund. Applications for the TMA Bucks Scholarship Fund are available at all Bucks County high school guidance offices and at tmabucks.com. 

Applications are to be returned by mail or in person to the office of TMA Bucks, Seven Neshaminy Interplex, Suite 103, Trevose, PA 19053, by the close of business, 4 p.m., on May 6.
  • The AP reports that surging radiation levels at the Fukushima Dai-ichi nuclear plant caused workers to evacuate on Wednesday, hindering the emergency cooling efforts.
  • ABC News reports that newspaper ad sales in 2010 fell to its lowest status since 1985. Figures released by the Newspaper Association of America show that advertisers spent $25.8 billion on newspapers’ print and online editions.
