  • Former Warminster resident and U.S. Olympic swimmer Dave Wharton will be inducted into the Bucks County chapter of the Pennsylvania Sports Hall of Fame. The banquet will be held at King’s Caterer’s in Levittown April 11 at 6 p.m.
  • The Warminster Parks and Recreation Easter Egg Scramble is scheduled for April 21 at 4:30 p.m., rain or shine, at the . Admission is free for children ages 3-10, but you must pre-register.
  • Temple defeated Penn State, 66-64, yesterday to advance to the third round of the NCAA March Madness tournament. Villanova takes on George Mason today at 2:10 p.m. on TNT.
  • CNN reports that the United Nations Security Council has approved of a no-fly zone implemented on Libya. The no-fly zone prohibits Libya's air forces from entering certain zones within the country.
  • On March 18, 1893, Former Canadian Governor General Lord Stanley pledged to donate a silver challenge cup, later named after him, as an award for the best hockey team in Canada.
