What's going on around town today.

  • The National Weather Service reports there’s a 50 percent chance of rain today after 2 p.m. Highs will reach 50 degrees, down to 36 degrees tonight. There’s a stronger possibility of rain Thursday night, turning into snow early Friday morning, then back to rain after 10 a.m.
  • McDonald-Davis Elementary School is hosting a Cyber Safety program on April 27 at 7 p.m. The program will address appropriate online behavior and how to you’re your child grow safely in the digital world. RSVP by April 22 if you wish to use the free babysitting service.
  • The hosts Bingo Night every Wednesday at 6:30 p.m. Food is served at 5:30 p.m. The game is open to all adults, admission costs $7.
  • The Bucks County Visitors Center has works by James A. Michener to its Creative Bucks County exhibit, which highlights artists that have called Bucks County home, including Impressionist painters Daniel Garber and Edward Redfield and playwright George S. Kaufman.
  • On this day, March 30, 1981: President Ronald Reagan was shot outside the Hilton Hotel in Washington, D.C., by John Hinckley, Jr. A forensic psychologist has recently testified that, after 30 years in a mental hospital, Hinckley no longer presents a danger to himself or others.
