  • CNN reports that Twitter has acquired TweetDeck, an application for organizing the display of tweets, for more than $40 million in a mix of cash and stock, according to sources close to the deal.
  • On this day, May 24, 1935, the first night game in major league baseball history is played in Cincinnati, Ohio, with the Reds defeating the Phillies, 2-1.
