  • Leary and Willow Dale elementary schools received recognition from the Anti-Defamation League as No Places for Hate for maintaining a strict, anti-bullying environment. Each school will receive their banner Thursday morning during assemblies. At the Leary presentation, Miss Pennsylvania Courtney Thomas will be on hand to promote her anti-bullying platform.
  • Warminster's Zoning Hearing Board will meet at the township municipal building tonight at 7:30 p.m.
  • An indoor kart racing facility has been proposed to fill the empty commercial space at the closed Wal-Mart on Blair mill Road, Hatboro-HorshamPatch .
  • The final episode of Oprah Winfrey's 25-year-old syndicated talk show is scheduled to air today at 4 p.m. on ABC.
  • On this day, May 25, 1925, John Scopes is indicted for teaching Charles Darwin's theory of evolution.
