  • The Centennial School District's Operations Committee meets tonight at the administration building at 7 p.m. Among the topics on the agenda is the authorization to accept bids for replacement school buses.
  • Warminster's Parks, Recreation and Conservation Board meets at the WREC tonight at 6:30 p.m. The Economic Development Committee and the Planning Committee meet at 7 p.m. at the municipal complex on Gibson Rd.
  • Sunny today, with a high near 59, according to the National Weather Service.
  • Bank of America said it's axing its plan to charge a $5 fee for customers who use their debit cards to make purchases, CNN reports. In September, the bank announced that it would begin charging most customers the monthly fee early next year.
  • On this day, November 2, 1959, Twenty One game show contestant Charles Van Doren admits to a Congressional committee that he had been given questions and answers in advance.
