  • The Warminster Township Fire Marshal’s Office was awarded a $1,500 grant from commercial insurance company FM Global as part of their Fire Prevention Grant Program. This grant is being awarded to assist the office in purchasing fire and arson investigation equipment used for documenting fire scenes and code enforcement issues.
  • Tennent's varsity field hockey team has an away game against Council Rock North at 3:30 p.m. today.
  • Looks like the sun will stick around all weekend with temps in the 70s, reaching 80 by Sunday, according to the National Weather Service.
  • The Nobel Peace Prize has been awarded to Liberian President Ellen Johnson Sirleaf, peace activist Leymah Gbowee, and democracy activist Tawakkul Karman of Yemen — the first Arab woman to win the prize, MSNBC.com reports.
