  • Registration for Warminster Basketball Association begins on Tuesday, Sept. 20 at the WREC, 6:30-8:30 p.m. and continues on Sept. 22, Sept. 26 and Oct. 5. Fees are $100 for first child, $175 for two ad $240 for three children. If you register after Oct. 15, the fees are raised and additional $10.
  • William Tennent's varsity field hockey team hosts a game against Harry S. Truman High School today at 3:30 p.m.
  • Likely showers and thunderstorms today with a high near 76, according to the National Weather Service.
  • Two people were killed in a fire on a cruise liner operating on a popular route along Norway's coast, police told MSNBC Thursday. Police said in a statement they received information that an additional four people were missing, but said they couldn't confirm that.
  • On this day, Sept. 15, Nikita Kruschev becomes the first Soviet leader to visit the United States.
