We know you need a break from the shopping frenzy and figure a movie might do the trick. If you don’t want to be bothered with picking one out, consider this list of the top five most-rented movies in our area, courtesy of Red Box.

Friends With Benefits (R): Two friends (Justin Timberlake and Mila Kunis) add sex to their friendship and, in a stunning plot twist (NOT!), things get complicated.

The Change-Up (R): Two totally different guys: one stable & married, the other a wild & crazy womanizer, end up magically switching lives. Amazingly (again, NOT!), they find that the other’s life is not nearly as awesome as they suspected.

The Help (PG-13): This will probably be labeled a Chick Flick, though it mixes in class and race relations at the dawn of the civil rights movement. The center of the story line is the hired help (African Americans, of course), are the source for a tell-all book about their wealthy (white) employers. But the real story is in the lives of the women involved. See, Chick Flick.

The Smurfs 2011 (PG): The Smurfs end up in The Big Apple -- the details don’t really matter, do they? But how did a movie about the diminutive blue creatures end up NOT being rated G?

30 Minutes Or Less (R): Two wannabe criminals kidnap a pizza delivery guy and force him to rob a bank. Add in some nudity, a flamethrower and hired assassins and you’ve got a movie … apparently.
