Why Go: Gilda’s Club Delaware Valley will be hosting the second annual Alex Boyes Memorial 5k Run/Walk at Warminster Community Park, with a vendor and entertainment portion following at our neighboring Warminster clubhouse.
Alex Boyes was a committed Gilda’s Club volunteer, and even completed his Eagle Scout project here. In the fall of 2009, at the age of 22, he died from cancer.
All funds raised from the event will stay locally to support Gilda’s Club Delaware Valley in its mission to ensure that no one has to face cancer alone.

Why Go: Downtown Hatboro will be bustling with fun and festivity at the 10th Annual Hatboro Sidewalk Sale, Craft Fair & Pet Rescue.
Live entertainment will add to the festive atmosphere and the FREE SHOPPERS TROLLEY will take shoppers from one end of town to the other.
On the front lawn of Hatboro Baptist Church, Pet Rescue groups will be on hand to answer questions about pet adoptions and a variety of vendors will offer pet-related products.

Community Computer & Electronics Scrap Recycling Event & Community Health and Wellness Expo

Why Go: In conjunction with the Hatboro Sidewalk Sale, Craft Fair & Pet Rescue the Greater Hatboro Chamber of Commerce and 611 Metals Recycling will host a Community Computer & Electronics Scrap Recycling Event. Proceeds from this event will help fund the Hatboro Holiday Parade.

Why Go: Earth Day was postponed so it could be combined with the International Coastal Cleanup. Join the Friends of Tamanend and the Park & Rec staff to celebrate by contributing a few hours to help clean up and beautify the park the nature center and surrounding reservoir.
