It’s Thursday and it's hot outside. If you’re not headed to the beach or a cluster of graduation parties, Patch has you covered with our favorite ways to stay busy and local this weekend.

Warminster Township Free Library is turning 50!

Why Go:  See Chippy the clown, play miniature golf, meet Elmo, climb aboard a game truck, enjoy hot dogs, snacks and cupcakes. Everyone who attends gets a FREE cupcake!

Held Rain or Shine

Pricing:  Free admission

Where/When: Village Players of Hatboro, 401 Jefferson Ave, Hatboro. Fri & Sat 8pm, Sun 2pm

Why Go:  This is the final production of their 63nd Season, “I Hate Hamlet”, a robust comedy by Paul Rudnick. The show is directed by Jim Balcerek who helmed “The Senator Wore Pantyhose” at the playhouse. Erin Ryan is the assistant director. The show’s producer is Kyle Aptacy.

Pricing: $12 - Regular $10 - Sunday Matinee

Jim Fregosi  Autograph Event

Where/When: 263 Marketplace, 700 York Rd, Warminster. Sat 12-1pm  

Why Go:  1993 Phillies NL Champion Manger.  He was also a 6 time All Star player, playing from 1961-1978 for the Angles, Rangers, Mets and Pirates.

Pricing:  Autographs are $25 per item/any item

 Strawberry Festival 2011

Where/When: , 32 N York Rd, Hatboro. Sat. 9-3pm

Why Go: Get some mouth watering, home-made Strawberry Shortcakes!! And Strawberry Smoothies! Check out the craft and flea market, or let the kids play some fun games.

Pricing:  Depends on what you buy    

June Fete Village Fair

Where/When: 2990 Edge Hill Rd, Huntingdon Valley, PA 19006 (June Fete Fairgrounds).  Hours are:  Friday from 4 to 11 pm • Saturday from 10 a.m. to 10 pm • Sunday from 12pm to 6 pm

Why Go:  Horse shows, games, activities, music, and food.  

Pricing:   Admission is $4, children 5 & under are free. FREE PARKING
