A magic show, 5K race and more outdoor fun in store for this weekend.

A beautiful fall weekend is on tap and there are plenty of choices when it comes to getting out and enjoying it. Here are some of our favorite picks. Add yours in the comments!

Where/When: Warminster Community Park, 300 Veterans Cir. Warminster, PA, Oct. 22, 9 a.m.

Why go: The entire family can enjoy a fun-filled fall morning, while supporting early American history education.

Cost: $5/One Mile Fun Run; $15/5K race or health walk

Where/When: 1240 Grenoble Rd., Ivyland, PA; Oct. 22 10 a.m.-noon

Why go: Come pick and decorate pumpkins from the pumpkin patch, take pony rides with “Candy,” visit a petting zoo filled with chickens, lambs, a goat, and a miniature donkey, and travel on a hay wagon while you drink warm Apple Cider and sing songs.

Cost: Free

Where/When: 1101 Little Ln., Warminster, PA; Oct. 23 1 p.m.

Why go: Co-sponsored by the Tricentennial Committee, Magic on Bridge Street returns to the WREC with young magicians from around the area that will take you on a journey of magic and illusion. There are laughs and surprises, audience participation, comedy and fun. 

Cost: $5/Adult; $3/Children 2-10 ($1 discount if in costume).

Where/When: Friday, 7:30 p.m. at Horsham’s Graeme Park.

Why Go: Learn about what haunts Horsham’s Graeme Park in this living history presentation on the history of the park and the ghostly experiences people have had here. Reservations are required. There’s also a ghost hunt Saturday at 6:30 p.m.

Where/When: Horsham and York Roads, Hatboro, Friday and Saturday, 6 p.m. – 11 p.m.

Why Go: Kids 13 and up will enjoy Hatboro Haunts, where the evil deeds of Hatboro's Mad Hatter, Damien Lester, are about to be revealed. Oh and the haunted cemetery hay ride!

Where/When: Saturday, 8 a.m. – 11 a.m., Central Bucks East High School, 2804 Holicong Rd, Doylestown

Why go: Get some good food and support CB East football

Cost: $5

Where/when: Saturday, 11 a.m. Ferderbar Elementary School 300 Heights Ln, Feasterville 

Why go: This is one of the PTO’s biggest fundraisers and includes games,  food, crafts, vendors, bake sale, our famous basket raffles, prizes and much more!

Cost: It’s a fundraiser!

Where/when: Three Arches, 335 Trenton Rd, Fairless Hills, Friday 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.

Why go: Just in time for Halloween, we hope to speak with the departed through one of the area’s most well known medium’s. Light refreshments will be served under the tent as you wait to have your questions answered. Please dress for the occasion, as we will be outdoors for up to two hours.

Cost: $35

Where/when: Saturday, 7:30 p.m. at the Newtown campus of Bucks County Community College in the Presser Music Room in the Music & Multimedia Center.

Why go: The concert will feature the music of Bob Dylan and Leonard Cohen, along with the poetry of Walt Whitman, Eugene Howard, and others. BCCC Professor David Brahinsky, vocals and guitar; Guy DeRosa, mouth-organs; Phil McCauliffe, bass; and Kai Altair, Nalani Bolton, and Sarina Bolton, vocals. 

Cost: Free

Where/when: Saturday, around 6 p.m. at Tamanend Park in Upper Southampton

Why go: See Errol Flynn in “Captain Blood” under the stars.

Cost: Free
