The annual fundraiser was held at The Fuge in Warminster.

Gilda’s Club Delaware Valley announced that its 2012 Gala has raised more than $100,000 to help local families living with cancer.

The Gala was held on Nov. 30 at The Fuge, the renovated centrifuge in Warminster where the early astronauts trained.

Harris also expressed her gratitude for the local businesses who donated to the Gilda’s Club auction, the community members who came out to support the event, and the individuals who gave their time to volunteer that evening.

The gala was preceded by the Ann Silverman VIP Award Ceremony, which honors individuals and organizations whose dedicated support of Gilda’s Club has helped the non-profit advance its mission. This year’s honorees were Sheri Putnam, MBA, FAHM, executive director of the Bucks County Physician Hospital Alliance (Ann Silverman Award); Bimbo Bakeries USA, Stroehmann Division (Shining Star Award); and the Rock Area Sodexo Senior Living Team (Impact Award).
