Yellow labradors are one of the most popular dog breeds in the United States. They are very good with children and love to play catch. Sage is no exception - he loves his toys and playing retrieve games.
Sage is currently living at the Bucks County SPCA in Lahaska, and according to shelter staff, he's an 8 year old going on 3. Sage loves people and Jen Lyons, kennel manager, said he would be best in a home with children over 6 years old.
He's a big boy at 100 pounds but is currently on a doggie diet to shed a few pounds. Sage is neutered and does very well with other dogs, however, a cat-free home would be preferred.

Lyons said Sage is also becoming quite the gentleman on a leash. He is house-trained and and waiting at the shelter for a family to call his own. Sage will make someone a loyal and loving companion - he just needs a second chance.
