Meet Sage - Looking for Love

This yellow Labrador will be the spice of your life.

Yellow labradors are one of the most popular dog breeds in the United States. They are very good with children and love to play catch. Sage is no exception - he loves his toys and playing retrieve games.

Sage is currently living at the Bucks County SPCA in Lahaska, and according to shelter staff, he's an 8 year old going on 3. Sage loves people and Jen Lyons, kennel manager, said he would be best in a home with children over 6 years old.

He's a big boy at 100 pounds but is currently on a doggie diet to shed a few pounds. Sage is neutered and does very well with other dogs, however, a cat-free home would be preferred.

Lyons said Sage is also becoming quite the gentleman on a leash. He is house-trained and and waiting at the shelter for a family to call his own. Sage will make someone a loyal and loving companion - he just needs a second chance.

If you would like to meet Sage, please contact the Bucks County SPCA at; 1665 Street Road, Lahaska - or call for more information about Sage or other animals available for adoption at 215.794.7425. You can also visit the shelter online at: http://www.bcspca.org/
