Pleasant Labor Day Weekend On Tap

The remnants of Tropical Storm Isaac shouldn't affect area weather until late Monday or early Tuesday.

All in all, it won't be a terrible Labor Day Weekend.  It starts warm, turns a bit muggier through the weekend, and could end with some thunderstorms inland on Labor Day afternoon.

The Shore should be ok as winds off of the ocean should stabilize the atmosphere through the weekend and limit the potential for thunderstorm development.

The fly in the ointment is the leftovers of Isaac, which are currently in the lower Mississippi Valley.  That system's moisture will work towards our region over the coming days.

Although some of the moisture from Isaac could trigger thunderstorms west of Philadelphia on Monday afternoon, it should not be a weather player at the Shore until Tuesday.  However, despite the potential lack of rain, it may be mostly cloudy through the latter half of the weekend at the Shore.

Highs over the weekend will get into the mid and upper 80s on Saturday, lower 80s on Sunday and Labor Day.  Lows in the 60s to near 70 degrees through the weekend.
