SAND SHIMMERS BELLY DANCE SHOW

Where/when: WREC Center, 1101 Little Ln., Warminster, Friday at 7 p.m.

Why go: An enchanting evening of Middle Eastern music and dance, appropriate for the whole family. Performances by Mirjana, and the Sand Shimmers Dance Troupe, along with other special guest performers, are sure to delight.  You will see a variety of performances that showcase many different aspects of Belly Dance.

TOUCH A TRUCK

Why go: Come out and enjoy an unforgettable experience where kids, young & old, can touch, honk, and climb aboard some of the big rigs, construction, and public safety equipment they see on the road every day.

ARCHBISHOP WOOD LADY VIKINGS GOLF OUTING

Where/when: Limekiln Country Club, 1176 Limekiln Pike, Ambler, Saturday at 11 a.m.

Why go: The Golf Outing raises much needed-funds for our Lady Vikings Girls Basketball Team to help pay for and defray the costs of uniforms, shoes, travel, tournament fees and other expenses.

Cost: $125 per golfer, $50 for just dinner and auction

MENCHIE'S FUNDRAISER TO SUPPORT THE WARMINSTER PIONEERS

Where/when: Menchie's Frozen Yogurt, 872 W. Street Rd., Warminster, Saturday and Sunday from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m.

Why go: A portion of the sales will go to support the Warminster Pioneers Youth Football and Cheerleading organization, so come on out and enjoy a frozen yogurt at Menchie's in Warminster.

Cost: Price of yogurt (mention you would like to support the Warminster Pioneers)

6TH ANNUAL FASHION SHOW

Where/when: Vereinigung Erzgebirge, 130 Davisville Rd., Warminster, Sunday from noon to 4 p.m.

Why go: The show features styles from Dress Barn. Proceeds benefit the Ben Wilson Senior Center.

Cost: $30, includes lunch

HALLOWEEN MAGIC SHOW

Where/when: WREC Center, 1101 Little Lane, Warminster, Sunday at 1 p.m.

Why go: Magic on Bridge Street returns to the WREC and is the perfect entertainment choice for your pre-Halloween plans. Watch young magicians from around the area take you on a journey of magic and illusion! There are laughs and surprises, audience participation, comedy and fun.

Cost: $5 for adults, $3 children ages 2-10 years old (get a $1 discount if you come in costume)

COLONIAL STORYTELLING

Where/when: Moland House, 1641 Old York Road, Hartsville, Sunday from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m.

Why go: Enjoy stories being told of locally important figures in colonial American history.
