First quarter fundraising reports for political campaigns have been released and in Bucks County’s contested race for congress, the incumbent has the lead.
According to figures reported by PoliticsPa.com, incumbent Republican Mike Fitzpatrick raised more than $337,000 during the first quarter of the year in his bid to remain as representative of the 8th District.
The publication reported Fitzpatrick has $1,473,633 cash on hand.
Shaughnessy Naughton, who faces Kevin Strouse in the May primary, raised $124,952, PoliticsPa.com reported. She has $207,966 cash on hand.
Kevin Strouse raised $115,193 in donations and has $563,574 cash on hand, according to PoliticsPa.com.
