What is the biggest issue facing the school district and how can you help solve it?

The biggest issue facing Centennial School District and 500 other School Districts in the State of Pennsylvania is Teacher and State Pension Funding.

2013-2014, 16.75 percent; 2014-2015, 21.25 percent; 2015-2016, 25.56 percent; 2016-2017 26.26 percent. These currently are the rates of contributions for Centennial School District and 500 other School Districts in the State of Pennsylvania. The Centennial School District cannot maintain its current tax base with these huge increases to the taxpayers. Relief is needed from the state and the governor must bring about reform and relief for the financial mess that has been created by the state.

Without reform and relief, people will lose their homes due to tax increase that are impossible to meet.

Centennial School Board was the first in the state to send a resolution to the governor demanding tax relief and tax reform. I will continue in my roll as School Director to be an advocate for relief for the residents of Centennial to have our voice heard in the governor's office.  By working with our State Senators and Assembly men/women, our voice will be heard loud and clear.
