Join the Fun at the 17th Annual Crooked Billet 5K Run and Health Walk

The entire family can enjoy a fun-filled fall morning, while supporting early American history education, on Saturday, October 20th as The Craven Hall Historical Society sponsors a one-mile fun run followed by the 17th annual Crooked Billet 5K Run/5K Health Walk.


            Both events will take place in Warminster Community Park located on Veterans Lane off of Johnsville Blvd. in Warminster.  Considered to be hallowed ground, the land was a part of the Revolutionary War Battle of Crooked Billet, which took place on May 1st, 1778. 


            The One-mile Fun Run begins at 9:00 a.m.  and the 5K race starts at 9:30 a.m.

            Exciting prizes will be awarded including trophies for best time, and all participants will receive a special Crooked Billet race tee shirt.   Proceeds from this event support Craven Hall’s educational programs for the community.


            Race fees for the one-mile Fun Run is $5.00.  Fees for the 5K race or health walk is $15.00.  Registration forms are available on line at www.active.com or by calling 215-675-4698.   Same-day registration begins at 8:30 a.m. in the Pavilion.

            Warminster Community Park is located on Veterans Lane off of Johnsville Boulevard in Warminster, PA.    Ample parking is available as well as an on-site playground for youngsters.
