Farm Fresh Produce COMMUNITY SUPPORTED AGRICULTURE With Wimer's Organics
Do to the tremendous success of our partnership with Wimer’s Organics during the summer, Warminster Parks & Recreation is planning to continue to bring fresh organic produce to the community though the fall, with Community Supported Agriculture (CSA). In a CSA, a farmer offers a certain number of "shares" which typically consists of a box of produce to the public. Interested consumers purchase a share and in return receive a box of seasonal produce each week throughout the season. We are the exclusive CSA host site of Bucks County for Wimer’s Organics. Share boxes will average at least 8 items over the course of the season and varies as the harvest dictates. A Weekly Share is expected to feed 2-4 people. Weekly Share members receive a 16”x12” box each week, Bi-weekly Share members every other week. Call or check the website for types of produce to expect over the season. Egg and Yogurt Shares available upon request.
