Seniors Helping Seniors® of Bucks County Lace Up for the 2013 Walk to End Alzheimer's - Thousands expected to participate November 10 at Citizens Bank Park in Philadelphia

The Alzheimer’s Association with the support of  Seniors Helping Seniors® of Bucks County, will host the 2013 Walk to End Alzheimer's on Sunday, November 10, at Citizen’s Bank Park, 1 Citizens Bank Way, Philadelphia, PA. Join the Seniors Helping Seniors® team or walk on your own to help raise awareness and funds for Alzheimer’s research and care for seniors with Alzheimer's.

The Alzheimer’s Association’s Walk To End Alzheimer’s is the largest national fundraiser in which every dollar raised is dedicated toward research, education and services for those currently caught in the web of Alzheimer’s/Dementia. Not only does the walk support Alzheimer's awareness, it is also fun. After the walk, there will be a tailgate party to allow the walkers to mingle and get to know one another.

Registration will also be available the day of the event beginning at 9:00 AM. While there is no registration fee, each participant is expected to raise funds in order to increase awareness of and one day find a cure for Alzheimer’s. Funds will help benefit Alzheimer’s research and programs that enhance the care and support of individuals suffering from Alzheimer's, their families and caregivers.
