A Warminster father has created a GoFundMe.com page with a goal to raise $5,000 that will benefit national and local autism support groups.

Paul Rokuskie will donate a portion of the funds to Autism Speaks, one of the nation's largest autism science and advocacy organization, dedicated to funding research into the causes, prevention, treatments and a cure for Autism, increasing awareness of Autism Spectrum Disorders; and advocating for the needs of individuals with autism and their families.

Money will also go to the Bucks County Autism Support Coalition, an all-volunteer, community-based, non-profit organization focused on maximizing the personal development of individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorder through awareness and advocacy, education and training. Rokuskie is president of the orgainzation.

"This group is comprised of educators from local school districts and intermediate units, mental health professionals, physicians, behavior specialists, and parents of children with Autism Spectrum Disorder," writes Rokuskie on the campaign site.

Rokuskie is also selling discounted tickets to any of the nine home games for the Philadelphia Soul arena football team. Donations of $20 or more are eligible for the tickets, located at the 100 level in the Wells Fargo Center. Those interested in the tickets should leave a note in the comment box when they make a donation.
