Sir Speedy Accepting Food and Toy Donations

For the third year in a row, the staff at Sir Speedy in Warminster is collecting food donations at its location on York Road, behind the post office.

Vice President James Swan says his employees are big fans of the Preston and Steve Show on WMMR. The food donated before the first week of December will be delivered to the show's annual Camp Out for Hunger benefit, when the radio hosts will live in an RV for a week to collect food for Philabundance.

"We delivered 50 pounds last year," said Swan. "But we actually had more toys than food."

Sir Speedy is also collecting toys for the Toys for Tots program. Any clients or customers that bring in donations during regular business hours will receive 10 percent off their next printing order.

Donations received after the first week of December will be given to local food pantries, Swan said.
