It's amazing how even when asleep and one of your children wake you, it never really seems to be an issue.
Last night (Wednesday), my husband and I were just drifting off to slumber land when my daughter - now mind you she is 21 - comes into our room and says, "You guys awake?" knowing that she was calm made it much easier to wake slowly.
Upon waking she asked if we heard the noise right outside my dressing room window. We all gathered in the room and quietly listened, the sound right out the window was the most beautiful hooting and screeching. Although it was dark, we all tried to view the creature.
Several years ago when I first moved into the house we had a beautiful gray owl living in the yard, along with a few woodpeckers and mockingbirds. Our friend soon departed, and his presence was greatly missed.
I am sure some are not impressed that my owl is back, but to me it's a welcomed entity that is so beneficial to my studies, along with my personal path of witchcraft. Yes, people, there is a witch, and I am not the kind that you would think studied and chose this life. I was born and raised this way, and so was my mother, grandmother, great grandmothers and so on. It is a way of life.... Living in Warminster!
But anyway I digress, back to the bird. With many different animals and insects the meanings are different. With the owl it is well known they are creatures of the night, they, if you are in tune, bring messages from beyond. The owl is an assistant with any and all other magickal creatures. I believe it is here to assist me in getting back to where I was a few years ago. To a path which is more magickal than one can image.
No, people, I am not crazy, more sane then most, but, and this is the main reason, I am putting this out here is for everyone to know that the owl is living among all of us in Warminster, it is here for everyone, it's a very good omen that those who choose to believe can overcome a lot of issues going on in their own worlds right
With so much crime, fighting and just downright meanness going on here, wouldn't it be nice for people to stop and notice the beauty?
For some who want to know more about owls please see below:
Owl is the Mystery of silent wisdom, heightened vision and hearing and the ability to pinpoint subtleties of motives, actions and people. He teaches the power of
silence and contemplation and the balance of waiting and acting. When action is
taken it is swift and exacting. Owl teaches the ability to extract secrets from
within, so listen carefully. He also aids in clearing deceptions - within and
without. Are you trusting your instincts about people? Are you listening to
your surroundings? Do you have patience? Owl has much wisdom in teaching how to see and sense the world around you along with determination and patience in waiting for the opportune moment.
So with this information people, please remember to bring in your small animals at night for the beautiful owl will get hungry and one cannot blame it if it eats your pet!
