Religion in Politics OH PLEASE!
Funny how most people identify religion within the political world? It's amazing that people cannot separate these two and the conflict it causes is one of the biggest issues our parties have.
In the issue of abortion, I must ask this one question, seeing most Christians are against the act. Does it not state in one specific religion that two souls cannot live within one body? Now if two souls would live within one body would that not be considered possession? With this in mind does a fetus have a soul? And if it does then all mothers who are of that specific religion would be possessed, correct?
My personal beliefs are that a fetus is the extension of the mother, it has all the shell and casings; however, without the mother to feed it and allow it to grow, it would naturally die until it becomes ready to enter this world and allow a soul to enter. Hence the reason child birth is so very painful. If another entity tries to enter a body with one already living in it, well, let's just say there is no room and the soul fighting begins.
So, with this in mind, a fetus is another growth within a
specific body. Other growths are allowed by law to be removed, but this
specific one is not. Where's the logic in that?

But, for grins and giggles, let's just ask those who believe
that there is a soul or two within a pregnant woman, is it OK in your world that
a mother who is hooked on drugs or has HIV be made to carry the child full term
and deliver a child who has no chance to live?
This is OK with some, it's fine
for a child to suffer abuse, to starve, to go through withdrawn, but not be
terminated prior to birth, where's the logic in that? This is the same political party who, the last three times they were in the White House, started wars and send our families over to kill innocent families. This is not
only fine with the political party but also their religious belief, right!

In moving forward, it should be for equal rights for everyone, not just the men, not just those of one specific color, but for anyone who has the right to be an American, the right to vote, the voice to be heard, the guts to stand up and say, "Yo, these policies suck." Come on, people, open your eyes, it is not right anyone
else makes important decisions about one's own body, the right is yours so stand
up for it!!!!
