Donations Needed to Memorialize Beloved Library Worker

Judith D'Amico spent almost 20 years working at the circulation desk at the Warminster Library before she died in March. Money is being collected to create a memorial honoring her service.

For almost 20 years, Judith D'Amico had been a permanent fixture at the Warminster library. Since her death on March 31, D'Amico's absence has been sorely felt.

As a way to keep her memory alive, the Friends of the Warminster Library has started seeking donations for a memorial to D'Amico. How the memorial will take shape is unknown, whether it will be a statue or bench. Anybody who would care to help with the cause can write a check made out to the "Friends of the Warminster Library" and submit it to the circulation desk.

"We wanted to do something as a remembrance of the service she gave to the library," said Dan McPhillips, member of the Friends of the Warminster Library. "Everyone knew how hard she worked and how dedicated she was to the library."
