Social Media to the Rescue of Lost Dog

The Warminster Patch Facebook page lit up with some excitement late Thursday night over finding the proper home for a stray dog.

Reader Jessica Iovine found a black labrador wandering the neighborhood around Cooper Drive, just west of Delmont Avenue. At approximately 9:30 p.m., she asked for the information to be posted on the Warminster Patch Facebook page, and within minutes the alert had been shared more than 50 times, reaching 185 shares by Friday.

Within an hour of the post, another reader posted that the owner of the dog, named Brady, had been notified and would reunite with the lost pet the next morning.
