Albert Hare, Sr., 81, Avid Fisherman

Albert J. Hare Sr., a longtime resident of Warminster, passed away Monday, Dec. 9, 2013, at his home. He was 81 years old.

Born in Odd, W.Va., he was the son of the late Albert H. and Clara (Underwood) Hare.

He was the beloved husband of the late Bernadette 'Terry' Hare for 42 years; and then also to the late Alice Meyers Hare.

He was the loving father of Kathi Cherubini (Art), Jack Hare (Terri), David Hare (Mary), Billy Hare (Suzanne), Kevin Hare (Patty), Karen Hare, and the late Donna Hare; brother of Roy C. Hare of South Carolina, and the late Katherine Ellison and Robert Hare. He was the loving and devoted grandfather of 23 grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren.

Mr. Hare was an avid fisherman who enjoyed his family, friends, and his neighborhood.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend his memorial service at 12:30 p.m. Friday, Dec. 13, in The Decker Funeral Home, 216 York Road, Warminster, where friends will be received from 11 a.m. until the time of service.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the American Cancer Society, 1626 Locust St., Philadelphia, PA 19103 in memory of Mr. Hare.
