Edward Winkler, 80, Worked for Bell Telephone

Winkler was an Army veteran who served during the Korean Conflict.

Edward Winkler of Warminster passed away suddenly Tuesday, Oct. 15, 2013, at his home. He was 80.

Born in Philadelphia, he was the son of the late Stephen and Suzanna Winkler.

He was the beloved husband of Marylou (Denver) Winkler; loving father of Edward Robert Winkler of Warminster, Jill Marie Williston (Charles) of Center Valley, Pa., and Amy Lynn Holliman (Floyd) of Birmingham, Ala.; brother of Theodore Winkler of Levittown and the late Stephen, Mary Turner, Elizabeth Hoffman and Eleanor Pfeil; grandfather of Karlee, Julie, Macey, Aiden and Jacob.

Mr. Winkler was an Army veteran serving during the Korean Conflict. He was a retired employee of Bell Telephone, retiring after 41 years of service and a member of the Bell Telephone Pioneers.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend his Memorial Mass 10 a.m. Friday, Oct. 18, in Nativity Of Our Lord Church, Street Road, Warminster, where friends will be received after 9 a.m. until time of Mass. Interment will be held privately.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Bucks County SPCA, P.O. Box 277, 1655 street Rd., Lahaska, PA 18931 in Mr. Winkler's memory.
