Margaret "Peg" Healy, 86, Worked at William Tennent

Ms. Healy was an active member of St. John Bosco Church, where she would clean the chapel every Saturday morning with the help of her sister.

Margaret M. 'Peg' Healy of Warminster passed away Thursday, Dec. 12, 2013, at Luther Woods Nursing Home. She was 86.

Born in Philadelphia, she was the daughter of the late William and Bridget (McHale) Lavelle.

She was the beloved wife of the late John 'Jack' Healy; the loving mother of Patricia Frazer (Richard), Eileen Ryan (William), Maureen Burris (Timothy), John Healy, and the late Theresa Miller (A. Andrew); Sister of Miriam Theresa Lavelle R.S.M., and the late William 'Bud' Lavell; grandmother of Richard and Thomas Frazer, and William and Kevin Ryan; and great-grandmother of Richard 5th and Samuel Frazer.

Mrs. Healy was employed at William Tennent High School until she was 84 years old.

Peg was an active member of St. John Bosco Church, where she was involved with the Women's Guild, Senior Club, a carnival worker, and a collection counter. She would clean the chapel every Saturday morning with the help of her sister when she would visit, along with selling for fund raisers before and after Mass.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend her funeral Mass at 11 a.m. Tuesday, Dec. 17, in St. John Bosco Church, 235 E. County Line Road, Hatboro, where friends will be received from 10 a.m. until time of the Mass. Interment will be in St. John Neumann Cemetery, Warrington Township.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Mercy Neighborhood Ministries of Philadelphia, Inc., Attn: Sister Ann Provost, 1939 Venango St.,, Philadelphia, PA 19140, in memory of Mrs. Healy. The Decker Funeral Home,
