Rita Joan Alexander, 84, Avid Phillies Fan

Rita lived in Warminster and was the beloved wife of John R. 'Jack' Alexander.

Rita Joan Alexander of Warminster passed away Tuesday, April 8, 2014, at Abington Hospice at Warminster. She was 84.

Born in Philadelphia, she was a daughter of the late Weldon and Julia Allen.

Rita enjoyed needle point crafts, cooking, and bowling. She was an avid fan of the Philadelphia Phillies, and was known for her great potato soup.

In addition to her husband, Rita is survived by four children, Deborah Coulter (John) of Phoenix, Ariz., Gloria Conroy, Rita Wolfe (Rich), both of Willow Grove, and Wally Conroy (Jackie) of Warrington; six grandchildren, Kelly, Troy, Angie, Scott, Jared, and Reese; five great-grandchildren, Collin, Brendan, Kayla, Gavin, and Alyssa; and one brother, Weldon Allen of Page, Ariz.

Relatives and friends will be received by her family after 1 p.m. Friday, April 11, in Schneider Funeral Home, 431 N. York Road, Hatboro, and are invited to attend her memorial service starting at 2 p.m. Interment will be held privately at the convenience of the family.
