Thomas "Skip" Van Horn, 82, Korean War Veteran

Van Horn was an employee of Western Electric, AT&T and Lucent for most of his life.

Thomas F. "Skip" Van Horn, a 43 year resident of Warminster, passed away on Nov. 28, 2013. He was 82.

Thomas was the beloved husband of Grace E. (Cannon) Van Horn, with whom he had shared 59 years of marriage. He was born in Weatherly, Pa., a son of the late Samuel Edward and Margaret (Watkins) Van Horn.

Thomas was a U.S. Army veteran serving from 1949 to 1952 in the Korean Conflict. He also was an employee of Western Electric, AT&T and Lucent for most of his life.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by three children, Thomas F. Van Horn Jr. (Judy), Miriam Michael, and Samuel Van Horn (Susan); five grandchildren, Sam Jr., Stephanie, Stephen, Jennifer and Christine; a great grandson, Mason; and two sisters, Doris Koehler and Marlene West (Paul). Thomas was preceded in death by a great granddaughter, Kayley Van Horn; and seven brothers and sisters, Margaret, Josephine, Pauline, Edward, Katie, William and Ruth.
