Update: Anonymous Tip Leads to Arrest in 7-Eleven Robbery

An Upper Southampton man is charged on multiple counts related to the incident.

Update, May 31, 9:30 a.m.: Horsham police officer Lt. Jon Clark said that the department has not yet determined if Foley is the same suspect for the May 27 robbery of the 7-Eleven on Moreland Road in Horsham, but detectives are very interested in him as a person of interest and are deeply investigating the matter.

Original story: Acting on information provided by an anonymous source, Warminster police have arrested and charged a suspect in connection with the May 26 robbery of the at 220 E. Street Road.

Sean Paul Foley, 19, of the 400 block of Springfield Road in Upper Southampton, was arraigned by Judge Jean Seaman on multiple counts, including Robbery, Making Terroristic Threats, Possession of a Firearm, Simple Assault and Receiving Stolen Property. He was unable to post bond on $75,000 bail and has been remanded to Bucks County Correctional Facility.

The incident occurred at approximately 7-7:30 p.m. on May 26. The store clerk described the suspect as a white male wearing a baseball cap and hoodie who indicated he carried a gun. The suspect fled on foot and eluded the police and K-9 units.

A similar description was given after the 7-Eleven on Moreland Road on May 27. Police detectives were unavailable to comment on whether Foley is also suspected for the Horsham incident.
