Dinkins Found Guilty of 2 of 16 Charges

The Tennent music teacher could get a maximum sentence of five years for each guilty verdict.

Three days of jury deliberation brought back only two guilty verdicts on two counts of the corruption of minors for William Tennent choir director Tyrone Dinkins Monday afternoon, according to phillyburbs.com. 

The deadlocked jury could not decide a verdict on one charge of indecent assault, forcing Judge Michael Finley to rule it a mistrial. Dinkins was acquitted on the remaining 13 charges, the article reports.

According to the article, the maximum sentence for the guilty verdicts is five years for each count, which could be served consecutively.
